ICAT Mathematics Examination Description
If you’re going to take the entrance exam to the IDU, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve got everything you need to know about the Math exam and even sample of the exam!
The Mathematics Exam is a 90-minute (NON-CALCULATOR) exam with 20 questions that evaluates the applicant’s skills and understanding of mathematics. All the questions in the test are self-contained and equally weighted – 5 marks for each question.
Overview
The test emphasizes the readiness for the major content areas that are prerequisite to successful performance in entry-level programmes of the University. Knowledge of basic formulas and computational skills is assumed as background for solving the problems, while recall of complex formulas and extensive computation are not required.
